What type of heating system is used for the Hot & Warm Yoga classes?

Tula Yoga is one of the few studios in Monmouth County to use an infrared heating system for its heated yoga classes. Unlike traditional heating there is no noise, no dust or germs circulating, and no odor, making for a more pleasant experience. Radiant heat penetrates the deepest layers of tissue, where it stimulates the body to release toxins, fat and other impurities through sweating. Analysis has found that sweat resulting from infrared heat contained 20 percent toxins compared to three percent from traditional heat. This safe, internal heating of the body can also stimulate immune function, increase blood flow, improve skin tone, texture and elasticity, ease joint and muscle pain, and break up cellulite deposits. Infrared heating is safe, offers many health benefits and will maximize the results of your hot yoga practice.
